Founded in 2009, following the creation of Aromas & Sentidos, Escola Raquel Costa trains professionals in Clinical Aromatherapy and Integrative Medicine.
The project, conceived by Raquel Costa, brings together Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Aromatherapy in a clinical practice geared towards public health, with a focus on training and accrediting outstanding professionals.
In Portugal, it develops protocols with the Portuguese Aromatherapy Association, promotes solidarity initiatives through the Hospital do Sorriso, and provides professional internships with hands-on clinical application.
Internationally, it is certified by IFPA – International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists and it maintains partnerships with schools in Brazil and China.
In the scientific field, it collaborates with the University of Minho on the development of applied research in Clinical Aromatherapy.,
