Criteria for professional recognition in Aromatherapy through IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists) Certification / Escola Raquel Costa

Escola Raquel Costa is a training institution certified by DGERT. The professional training hours assigned to our courses count toward the credits required for professional licenses in health and non-conventional therapies in Portugal.

Escola Raquel Costa is now the first Portuguese school to obtain International Certification for Aromatherapy Professionals. Through this certification, our students can become IFPA members and gain recognition as professional Aromatherapists. This allows them to work in other countries where IFPA is involved in regulation, such as the USA, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, among others.

The names of federation members will be listed on the IFPA website as recognised professionals. Members will also have access to various benefits, such as the Federation’s annual magazine.
